Plz prescribe the best antibiotics for recurring boils on buttocks I had taken amox+clav but the infection is still recurring. Plz ,the full treatment?
I've been on Bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) and Clindamycin for recurring boils on buttocks. Still getting boils while taking antibiotics. What's wrong with me?

Apply warm compress: In general, we apply heat to infections and cold to injuries. Heat draws infection fighters to the area while cold keeps blood flow away. Don't drain the boil on your own but you can help your body fight it off by signaling w/warm compresses where to focus immune systemt's defense. If it drains on its own, that's fine.
