Not for children &: Teens in this country. I've never heard of their use in adults, but the psychiatrists on panel may have. Yes: All generics are equivalent to their brand name counterparts. The active chemical is exactly the same. How safe are these ingredients to take as "snuff". Caffine, Acoru, Calamus, Hydrastis, Canadensis, Tilia Europea, Paulina Capana, L-taurine, Menthol.
Don't do it!!!!!: Why take/do snuff in 1st place? You're trading one type of cancer risk for another. There's absolutely no health benefit to tobacco in any form, smokeless or otherwise. Just b/c it's natural doesn't make it good for you! In the pharma war among, warfarin, pradaxa, xarelto, eliquis(fda pending), which one is safest and most effective for cad/pad from a medical view?
Debatable: Warfarin is safe, but requires blood checks to make sure anticoagulation is within range. It also can be reversed in case of hemorrhage fairly easily. Pradaxa, xarelto, and Eliquis are called factor x inhibitors and don't require blood testing and are safe; however, they can't be reversed in case of an unexpected hemorrhage so there is some risk associated with them. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Are there any real benefits to herbs/supplements vs some over-the-counter drugs? Ie: melanin vs diphenhydramine, peppermint/catnip vs tylenol (acetaminophen)?
Absolutely: Let's clarify - over-the-counter drugs (otcs) are virtually the same medications as prescription ones except that they've been granted the freedom to be sold without prescription due to their "benign" profile. Supplements are not medications in and of themselves. They are more or less "naturally" derived preparations that are used for the same purpose as meds. Some of them can be as effective too. ...Read more
Is there any brand in market that sells b-carotine derived vitamin A, instead of fish oil derived vitamin A? Fish oil gives me anxiety.
No,but not necessary: I'm not aware of any preformed Vit A supps from vegan sources, but this isn't necessary as we can convert beta carotene to Vit A. Some people do this more efficiently than others but everyone does it to some degree so if you eat enough food rich in beta carotene or take it as a supp. you'll get adequate A. Dairy also contains A.Even if fish oil gives anxiety,A derived from fish oil probably won't. ...Read more
