MTX in psoriatic: arthritis is a proven treatment http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/24566842 there is toxicity wtih it but it requires years to decades of MTX use. The newer antibody treatments are probably stronger and less toxic. ...Read more

Light often helps: Sunlight helps most people with psoriasis. It generally does not help the scalp unless the hair is very short. Perhaps there are tanning booths either commerecially or through your physicaina that could be helphful. Talk with your medical provider regarding phototherapy for psoriasis. ...Read more
