Body Itchy After Body Wash
What body wash/lotion do you recommend for dry itchy skin?? :) preferably brands I can find in Australia
Eczema skin products:
Dry skin usually improves if using sorbolene or aqueous cream instead of soap and having short cool-warm showers instead of long hot showers or baths. Using a moisturiser helps too. Some products labelled 'mild' or 'hypoallergenic' can irritate sensitive skin; try products used for eczema such as QV, Cetaphil, Dermeze or Alpha keri products and check back with your GP if the itching persists.
Skin examination: There are several causes of itching of the skin which should be evaluated by your dermatologist. These range from allergies and sensitivites to lymphoma. Persistent pruritus not relieved by moisturizing and proper bathing and cleansing should always be evaluated professionally. ...Read more
