Am male 29 & unmarried. Am not a body builder, just a fitness freak, planning to take creatine, will cause any sexual / general side effects in future?
Side effects of creatine monohydrate? Is 5gm of creatine per day enough for me. Am 19yr old and have thin body, I must build my body. My wt=60, ht=1.81m

Exercise plus a diet high in protein are the mainstays of increasing/maintaining healthy muscle bulk. Nutritional supplements (as sold in Health Food stores have NOT been shown to be useful with ANY scientifically based medical studies that I am aware of

Stay hydrated: A danger of creatine is kidney failure. Do not take more than directed and do not take the loading dose for a prolonged period. Stay hydrated! Kidney problems: Whey protein is a milk derivative. If you are lactose intolerant this will not help you build muscle b/c it will lead to bloating and abdominal pain. If you have no lactose intolerance, it is a good source of protein. Men need about 1.2-1.7g/kg/daily of protein to help build muscle mass.
