Is Shakeology protein powder safe for breastfeeding?

Not sure: I reviewed the shakeology web site and there were some concerns that I have reviewing the ingredients They list several added anti-oxidants and nutrients and basically my concern is that these have not been studies in babies The other question would be how much of the shake is being transferred through breast milk and that has also not been studied- I think a well balanced diet is likely better ...Read more

Phytic r folic acid?: Folic acid is strongly recommended before and during pregnancy to prevent neural defects like spina bifida. What will drinking soy protein powder do to a young female? Will it mess up hormones since there's chemicals, or will it give me curves/help gain weight

Iam breastfeeding and I want to do the 30 day arbonne program which includes protein shakes, and body cleanse is this safe?

Why take the chance?: The program says it "helps detoxify and cleanse our bodies from the toxins we consume in our daily diet as well as from our environment". In general, claims that supplements make are just claims. It is wisest to beware of products with lots of marketing hype, especially of anybody who says he will cleanse your body of toxins. Nature (or god) made our bodies self-cleansing. ...Read more

It might also be co-incidental & due to a stomach virus or oher agent but i think that's unlikely. ...Read more
