Were you to keep eating grains things would eventually improve though they will never feel as good as not eating them. ...Read more

Don't mortgage your future health for short term gains these agents seem to provide. I have never met a patient who took steroids who didn't regret doing so later on.The consequences last forever & significantly shorten your quality of life. Don't! ...Read more

GarbageIn-GarbageOut: Think of it like this: to build a strong castle, you want to use strong blocks. High quality building blocks build a stronger, longer-lasting castle. Cheap or weak blocks will decay and break down in short order. Build your castle - your body - with good foods & drinks (strong blocks) which will help it fight off invaders (infections) and last longer (live longer). Exercise & good sleep help, too. ...Read more

Antibiotic Resistant: Dr Giannone discussed tolerance and tachyphylaxis, BUT also consider antibiotic resistance as another phenomenon in which the body "gets used to medication" The scenario commonly seen today is the use of antibiotics haphazardly for viral upper respiratory infections. Antibiotics should be used for bacterial infections and saved for clinical scenarios that fit. ...Read more
