Bmi Of A Female Of 30 Years
What is the I deal weight for a 5ft 5 Australian female aged 22 years old? Is BMI a good measure to rely on?
Can't tell, but...: A starting point is 130 lbs. A lot depends on a person's body build. Some are naturally very thin, others thick or big-boned, but most people are somewhere in between. "Australian" is a location, so that doesn't help either, as many different types of bodies are in Australia. BMI is helpful if a person is of average musculature. If very muscular, a perfectly fine person will have a high BMI. ...Read more

I am a 16 year old female. I am very active and i want to calculate my BMI but for a highly active teenager. Height: 5.6" weight: 155 age: 16 years ol?
What kind of annual test should I do for my heart? Am 59 female, BMI of 22, and returning to active sports after 7 years of light physical activity.
Physical/EKG: See your doctor. Getting "cleared" for exercise primarily hinges on your history. If you've been active without symptoms and your ekg is normal, then there is no evidence that a stress test "just to be sure" will prevent anything in a person who feels well. Any test can have a false positive result, and a positive stress test means an invasive test like a heart cath (which has complications). ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

You : You should have a test for hypothyroidism (blood for tsh) but you likely have obstructive sleep apnea. Your weight is the major cause for that. I suspect you snore at night. People who wake up after lots of sleep and still feel tired and sleep have sleep apnea and until proven otherwise. Your lpid levels and vitamin are expected with your bmi but they do not explain your fatigue and sleepiness. See your doctor, get the thyroid tests and if they are normal get a sleep study. Sleep apnea is extremely common and overlooked by patients and doctors. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
