Loosing weight without really trying, labs norm, sonogram& cat norm. Male 6'3" BMI is 40". Gut hurts when I eat bread. Lost 6 lbs in two weeks.??????
Gluten Senstivity: You are likely to have gluten sensitivity (this is why you can't eat bread). Because of the inflammation caused by the bread and gluten you are not absorbing so that is why you are loosing weight. Being that you BMI is 40 it would be recommended that you lose weight by avoiding all bread, pasta, flour, cereal, oatmeal, beer, etc. You will actually feel lighter and have more energy. Read more

I think-my cervix is too low, 0.5cm from the vulva. Prolapse maybe? I'm 23, bmi:19.5 and want to have children. My next gyn appointment in november. Thanks
Prolapse/long cervix: If you haven't had any risk factors for prolapse--childbearing, obesity, lifting heavy things, straining--then another possibility is simply a very long cervix. Discuss with your provider at your visit. Either way, most people can achieve a healthy pregnancy. Good luck! Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

I am male. Age 45. 6ft 2 inches and weigh 208 lbs. What should be my ideal goal weight? At current weight my BMI is 26.8.
BMI: The upper limit of the BMI range is 25 but 26.8 is not far above this. When BMI was determined were you fully clothed, wearing boots, etc. If you have bathroom scales at home you might want to compare your results with that at the doctor's office. At home you won't need to worry about clothing. Read more

Hi LDL: Hi. Your BP is excellent. Your LDL is high and your HDL is not great. Your triglycerides and calculated VLDL are great (and suggestive of good insulin sensitivity). You're young, and it's hard to recommend lifelong preventive medicine sometimes for some people (not for me or for many others, however). Glucose > 100 - was that fasting? If so, that's abnormal; if not, probably OK. I'd treat LDL. Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
I went from have a bmi of 18.2 to 15.99 in six months. I'm 20 years old and I'm 5'6. I have tons of health issues, could this relate? How dangerous?
Need to see doctor.: I usually like to provide concrete answers to questions here, but your query requires some definitive testing. There could be many metabolic, infectious, nutritional, gastrointestinal, endocrine issues causing the problem with your weight. Your BMI is dangerously low. You need to initiate a local work-up with a doctor right away. Please. Read more
I've ↑ cals alot 2 recover from an eating D. Bmi was 22 a wk ago. I've gained SO much weight I cant bear anymore. How long should metab take to speedup?
Normal: A body mass index of 22 is normal and healthy, so there is no need for you to lose weight. You can improve your body composition (more muscle and less fat) by eating enough protein (60 grams a day), cutting out sugars and empty carbohydrates, and working out 20-60 minutes a day. Exercise increases your metabolic rate and low-fat dieting or fasting decrease your metabolic rate. Read more
