Gluten Senstivity: You are likely to have gluten sensitivity (this is why you can't eat bread). Because of the inflammation caused by the bread and gluten you are not absorbing so that is why you are loosing weight. Being that you BMI is 40 it would be recommended that you lose weight by avoiding all bread, pasta, flour, cereal, oatmeal, beer, etc. You will actually feel lighter and have more energy. Read more

Hi LDL: Hi. Your BP is excellent. Your LDL is high and your HDL is not great. Your triglycerides and calculated VLDL are great (and suggestive of good insulin sensitivity). You're young, and it's hard to recommend lifelong preventive medicine sometimes for some people (not for me or for many others, however). Glucose > 100 - was that fasting? If so, that's abnormal; if not, probably OK. I'd treat LDL. Read more
