It depends...: This depends on your size, activity level and the type of calories (low-glycemic foods help the most). Most people will lost weight on a 1200 calorie diet but weight loss on such a diet will be temporary unless you make long-term changes in your diet. You are more likely to become deficient in vitamins and minerals so should take a multivitamin. Please see http://bit.Ly/19csbtw and my comment:. ...Read more
Is consuming 920 calories a day ok? I'm trying to lose weight by exercising & counting calories. I'm 140 lbs, ideal weight is my prebaby weight of 122
Many more ?s: It is possible to eat around 1, 000 cal per day to loose weight. The trick is getting the proper nutrition and vitamins into that constrained calorie count. I would also say that exercise at that calorie level would need to be temporarily halved or stopped, depending on what you are doing and how intense the workout is. A better approach may be a few more calories with moderate exercise. ...Read more

Congratulations: Congratulations on attempting to lose weight! the problem with diets is that they are sometimes unsustainable. If you are eating 1300 calories per day and are not hungry this is a sign that you were maybe overeating before. The best solution is to make long term lifestyle changes.
