Who knows.: CAlibrate your own scale. Use a 10# bag of sugar or flour. See how close your scale is. It may be correct or not. EGFR: E is for estimated. There are many ways to estimate gfr. Best validated is the mdrd available at national kidney foundation. http://www.kidney.org/professionals/kdoqi/gfr.cfm. Egfr declines with age and indeed 70 is about normal for age 70. You sound very muscular so you are not normal. 50 is probably your normal.
