Bmi or body type mesomorph? Which one is better I want to be 115. Right now i'm 142 but my rib cage is showing i'm 5"5' what can I do?
Depends: By the growth charts of the cdc your expected weight for height would be 120lb while a bmi chart would put you at 132 lb to be average weight for height. Most would agree that more muscle mass is preferred to more chub, and both charts do not make a distinction. Your pcp can give you specific recommendations based on your body. I had a body analysis done and my body fat is 31.4% but BMI is normal. I weigh 65kg and height is 165cm. How much weight do I need to lose.
I am well within BMI but my body fat percentage is higher than i would like. I am slim 54 yr old female. Work out at curves 3 times a week.

Exercising three times a week will maintain your current body composition, but is not sufficient to change it.
