Red spot (bloodshot) outer part of left eye for 3 days. Off and on blurry vision. Eye drops don't help anymore?
Bruise?: This sounds like a subconjuctival hemorrhage, which is essentially a bruise on the whites of the eyes. This may cause some dryness and lead to fluctuating vision. Thinning macula: May refer to the loss of pigment or to a general decrease in thickness as occurs in many macular diseases in addition to macular degeneration. The macula can be assessed with a very rapid non invasive test called oct.
