Blurry Spot In Center Of Vision
Retina: I would get this checked. I would be concernef about a retinal or retinal artery problem
??: Need a little more info about your question. I assume you're saying you have a blind spot centrally and your seeing scintillating light peripherally--typically lasting about 15 minutes, not usually associated with any other symptoms. Sounds like an acephalic migraine or ocular migrains, without headache, sometimes described as auras. Central blindspot is concerning though. See your eyemd.
I have a blurry spot in my vision. It's a constant spot and doesn't change positions. What could it be?
Retina?: A small fixed blurry spot in the vision usually represents a macular problem in the retina. Sometimes, this is just a benign process but it's a good idea to get it checked out. There can be swelling like in serous chorioretinopathy or an early macular hole. See your ophthalmologist soon.See 1 more doctor answer

Watch and wait: Once episode of flash is not a cause for concern. Should it recur, it would be prudent to see an ophthalmologist. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Drink enough water daily so that your urine is mostly colorless. Practice safe sex.
Amsler gird: There is a gird with central black dot that is called amsler grid. You can down load an app, search online or ask you doc for it. You test one eye at a time look straight at the center dot and make sure you can see all the grid lines surrounding of it. You can also tell while you are reading if you are missing letters or word from the line.
Shooting pain on one spot on my head that comes out of nowhere and at the same time my vision gets blurry. Wasn't injured so what can be causing this?
Hard to say: The usual question that people are concerned about is whether this might be a manifestation of a brain tumor or an aneurysm. This is not the usual presentation for these entities. However, it is a good idea to observe this and take notes that you can present to your doctor to help him/her figure this out. The nature of the pain, the blurred vision-what brings it on, how long does it last etc.?
Upon waking or opening my eyes, I see a small transparent red spot in the center of my vision lasting 1-2 seconds. Should I be concerned?
Red spot noticeable: It is not common to see a red spot when you awaken. And if you see any red or pink spots, you should go to your eye doctor and have it examined. Through a dilated fundoscopic examination, they can pinpoint what is causing it, and what needs to be done, or if it just needs to be monitored. Yes, be concerned, and get a second opinion if you need to.
I have a small blurry spot in my vision that stays in the same spot. Saw an ophthalmologist who said my eyes were healthy. Should I seek 2nd opinion?
I noticed a large dark spot in the center of my vision in each eye. I can only see it in dim light. And more smaller speckles keep appearing everyday.
See an Eye doctor: This could be serious. Please see an ophthalmologist.
Is the blind or gray spot from macula degeneration always in dead center of vision or can they be off-center?
Exactness: Only the devices used by professionals can measure the exact area of disease, but I expect it may not always be 'dead center'. Have a good exam by an opthamologist. Best wishes!

There's a small bright spot around the center of my vision. Could my congested nose and sinus problems be the cause?
I feel tension constantly behind my eyes as if someone has pulled my optic nerves taught. And there is a faint big black spot in my central vision?
I did a 20 min intense workout today 11:45-12:30 and after about 1 hour I experienced a blurry vision spot and wasn't able to focus on reading for about 25 minutes. Blood preasure was 137/68 with 81 pulse. Any ideas on cause or steps I should take?
Have a thorough eval: Good evening. Because the possibilities are numerous, you should really contact your doctor for further eval. Several causes readily come to mind (like a transient ocular migraine), but there are many other possibilities such as a problem with the circulation to your retina. Please contact your doctor. Best of luck.
