I assume you're saying you have a blind spot centrally and your seeing scintillating light peripherally--typically lasting about 15 minutes, not usually associated with any other symptoms. You test one eye at a time look straight at the center dot and make sure you can see all the grid lines surrounding of it. Hard to say: The usual question that people are concerned about is whether this might be a manifestation of a brain tumor or an aneurysm. This is not the usual presentation for these entities. A choridal nevus is a freckle in the choroid the layer under the retina covering the inside of the eye. Most are benign but need to be monitored. A retinal exam and a bscan ultrasound can give clues if it is a melanoma (malignant tumor). A second opinion is a good idea in this case. ...Read more

Same with the eye, exercise shakes up the eye, and we C "floaters". They usually spear dark as they block the entry of the light, but that's still the most likely thing.
