Yes: It is better for it to end up being nothing than to miss something grave. Injury causes pain but your's is beyond pain as now there is vomiting and blurring of vision. You have to be evaluated neurologically and if needed have your brain looked at for certainty. ...Read more

Medication related?: This is not due to adhd itself, but could be related to a medication. Could also be due to being under-hydrated, and needing more non-caffeinated fluids on board to increase blood volume and flow to the brain. In an older person, i'd have to consider possible cholesterol/other build-up of the neck arteries supplying the brain, or heart issues. Consult with your physician if this continues. ...Read more

Sinus scenario: Using simplest possible diagnosis to fit all parts of your problem would be a sinus infection, either bacterial or viral. If your nose is draining thick mucus and/or mucus is running down the back of your throat, that diagnosis becomes much more likely.
