Sometimes after exercise or playing soccer I have blurry vision or see jagged lines in my field of vision. Lasts 15-30 min. Why might this happen?

Several options: This might be pigmentary glaucoma. If you are myopic and have this problem, the pigment liberated in exercise partially blocks fluid circulation inside the eye increasing the pressure and causing visual symptoms. It could also be a manifestation of occipital migraine. Check with your ophthalmologist as the glaucoma probably needs treatment. ...Read more

I get blurred vision with exercise and when under pressure. What is causing this?

Pigment issue: You could have a condition entitled pigmentary dispersion syndrome in which after exercise, pigment knocked loose in the eye partially obstructs fluid outflow inside, raising the pressure and causing blur. This is much more likely if you are very nearsighted. Check with your ophthalmologist if this pattern continues. ...Read more

I have reactive hypoglycemia -under controland also gilbert's syndrome will either of these cause blurred vision and weakness during moderate exercise?

Gilbert's syndrome: Is a benign abnormality detectable only by lab tests. Personally, I have never seen a patient with true reactive hypoglycemia -- only ones that were misdiagnosed. It's not low glucose, only a return of glucose to normal after a meal in someone who is usually overweight and Insulin resistant. Finger stick glucose meters are not accurate enough to detect true hypoglycemia. ...Read more

I get blurred vision when I exercise or feel stressed. Could this be a sign of high blood pressure? If so what should I do to stop this firm happenin

Doubt blood HBP: This could be a problem called pigmentary dispersion - which is mostly likely in higher myopes. Blurred vision after pvd?

Blurred vision after pvd?

Not common: A posterior vitreous detachment (PVD) is when the vitreous gel pulls away from the retina. The posterior aspect of the vitreous can be seen as a floater, often appearing like a spider web in the vision. In theory, if this floater obstructs the macula, or central retina, it could blur the vision. However, this is usually transient. If blurry vision is constant, get evaluated for retinal detachment. ...Read more

Atropine+when does blurred vision go away?

About 2 weeks: Your question is a little hard to understand, but it seems like you are asking how long blurry vision lasts after atropine. Atropine paralyzes your eyes ability to focus, so things up close will be blurry. Also your pupil will be dilated. It can last for up to 10-14 days. Other dilating drops like phenylephrine which are commonly used last for about 6 hours on average. ...Read more
