Unlikely, but...: It depends how long its been. And either way, if you are feeling it it is clearly outside of your skull so would not affect your brain (different than a clot on the brain) many traumas can result in a nodule or lump of scar tissue that u can feel. These are benign. ...Read more

Most likely blood: You most likely have a hematoma under the skin, this is a jello like collection of clotted blood which accumulates under the skin after trauma. It is usually just treated with pain meds and a heating pad. There could be other causes, but this is most likely, should resolve after 2 or 3 months, if not, see a doctor. ...Read more

Pancreatitis: Can be tough to deal with. I agree the ER is a very busy and not always pleasant place. There are many strategies but pancreatitis can be tough to deal with. Only use your pain medication when necessary as you build tolerance to it. Try eating small meals that are low in fat. Enzyme supplementation also helps. Lastly, nerve blocks, surgery and duct decompression are possible options. ...Read more
