Blue Shield Of California Urgent Care
Access for all: Unfortunately, our focus in the us is on treatment rather than prevention. However, accountable care organizations are designed to care for populations of patients rather than just hospital care. Therefore, it will be in everyone's best interest to keep people well and out of the hospital. Probably the most important part of the affordable care act is the provision for healthcare for all. ...Read more

Do you know if the big companies like aetna, blue cross, blue shield, or cigna will have low-cost insurance plans from health care reform?
Probably so...: That will differ among states, depending on which companies decide to sell health insurance in a particular state. The type of plan and level coverage that an insurance company sells through the Obamacare health insurance marketplaces should be the same quality plan as the company sells to people outside of the marketplace program. California's marketplace will sell several levels of coverage. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Are most colposcopys and biopsies covered with insurance?. I have blue cross blue shield federal with a $25 co-pay. Can you give an estimated price.
Don't know: You will have to ask your doctor about the estimated cost. This varies from region to region and doctor to doctor. Insurance coverage varies widely and that question would be best answered by your insurance company ( there should be a phone number for questions on your card) or the human resources office at work. Hope this helps. Good luck ...Read more

I'm looking for a great concierge doctor or comprehensive primary care doctor in lone tree colorado (or south denver area). Recommendations?
Search online for...: Search online for concierge doctors or concierge physician companies, and see if any are local. There are companies that have sprung up and coordinate groups of concierge doctors. One can contact these companies to see if they have a doctor locally. Healthtap doesn't have a category called "concierge", but one can check on individual doctors here, if one already knows he or she is a concierge. ...Read moreSee 3 more doctor answers

(Don't worry you will hurt some Doc's feelings if you can't get along after the first visit or two!) Hope this helps! Good Luck Dr Z ...Read more

I have blue shield PPo insurance and want to use it for telederm consult rather than paying out of pocket for healthtap prime
Try going locally: HealthTap PRIME is a nationwide service (and also accessible via smartphone, iPad, or laptop, from outside the U.S.) where a patient doesn't already have a relationship with the doctor. I have not seen insurance pay for anything like it. Here in N. California, Stanford Health Care (as in Stanford University) has an eMedicine service for Dermatology, but you have to already be a Stanford patient. ...Read more

Older age of coverag: The new law, termed the accountable health care act (called by its opponents obamacare) allows dependents currently receiving coverage to be on their parents policies until age 26 . Prior to this many ended at 18 if they were out of the house and others at age 21 no matter what. This is in jeopardy if the supreme court rules against it. This will be a major issue in the 2012 campaign. ...Read more
