Nasal inflammation: Your symptoms are suggestive of nasal inflammation from either an infection or allergy. Most nasal infections are viral and don't need antibiotics and resolve spontaneously. Nose bleeds: The best way to prevent nose bleeds in your situation is to keep the nose moist. You can try nasal saline spray and saline based gel that can be applied gently with a qtip 2-3 time a day depending on the humidity.If you sleep in a dry environment get a humidifier. If the symptoms persist or accompanied by nasal obstruction, visit an ENT for evaluation. Cauterizaiton of a blood vessel maybe needed. ...Read more
