It should help:
Blood tansfusion should help. However, it will last only for a short period of time. It will be shorter time if you have active bleeding. You should get your treatment started asap- off course, with the support of blood transfusion and growth support. Eventually, when the cancer is in better controlled under treatment, your bone marrow hopefully would gradually hwork again.
Discuss with your md. ...Read more

Depends: If you are dizzy, short of breath or have any symptoms you should go back to the emergency room. If your hemoglobin is normally at 7.5 then it is likely that is why they have not transfused you. I would go back to the emergency room should there be more concern. Good luck. ...Read more

There are many numbers in a cbc, but the main ones are HGB (measure of red blood cells = rbc), WBC (=white bc), and platelets. Why do you ask?: Lab reference ranges are set so that several percent of healthy people fall outside on either end. It's a mistake to think that the center of the range is best. If you feel well and you're not actually below the range, life's too short (and the chances of a working doing anything more than waste effort and money) to trouble yourself over it. ...Read more
