Dipstick urine test shows trace blood. When I test first thing in the morning results are always negative but they are positive throughout the day.
My blood urine qualitative poct came back with "trace" results. I've always had a negative result. I'm 24w pregnant. I'll ask dr but why is this?
Hematuria pregnancy: Dipstick hematuria is very common during pregnancy, but rarely signifies a disorder likely to impact pregnancy outcome. It can be a function of pregnancy hormones causing stasis and backup of urine in the kidneys with leakage of blood cells into the urine. If this is not infection and persists after pregnancy, you may need work up for kidney or bladder problems. ...Read more
A soft round red tissue was found in red colored urine. I got a urine analysis done which came out negative for all the factors except for traces of blood. What could the red tissue be?
Discuss with doctor: If it might be appropriate to have a urine cytology test if you are passing tissue in the urine. It is most likely a blood clot, however, bladder tumors can be very friable and little pieces can break off and pass in the urine. Usually these pieces are so small that we can only see them with a microscope. ...Read moreSee 3 more doctor answers

Rhogam Rx: Congratulations on your recent pregnancy! I am curious as to whether your first pregnancy was a Rh positive or negative baby. If it was negative, when no Rhogam was given then this pregnancy is probably not at risk. If you had a Rh positive first pregnancy Rhogam should have been given. Talk to your OB MD about this issue especially if this OB MD is not aware of your history. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Burning urination.Trace blood/protein in U/A. Negative culture. Urine was in bladder for 3 hrs before sample. Was that long enough for accurate test?
Get urine rechecked: With trace blood in urine, would make sure that a microscopic analysis was done to prove that there was truly blood in the urine as dipstick testing can produce false positives at times. If micro exam not done, repeat urinalysis with this. Also, would get urine tested for T mycoplasma/ureaplasma organisms as this can cause urinary discomfort as well. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
