Yes- usually good: Turmeric has many health benefits. It thins blood, meaning it reduces risk of blood clots & reduces blood viscosity. Thus, like aspirin, it reduces risk of heart attacks & strokes. It improves the rate of blood flow through microcapillaries, increasing delivery of oxygen & nutrients to our tissues. Yes, it may...: Flaxseed oil is high in polyunsaturated fats and linolenic acid. It has been studied to raise the good HDL cholesterol. Webmd lists increased bleeding as a side effect and recommends stopping it for two weeks before or after any surgery.
