Normal: All of these levels look normal. Why were they done? Do you have any symptoms or problems that prompted these tests. Your E2, LH, and FSH levels will vary throughout your menstrual cycle. ...Read more

Fsh (Definition)

Fsh is a peptide hormone synthesized in the anterior (forward) pituitary gland in both males and females. The name 'follicle stimulating hormone' refers to its role in females, namely to recruit and prepare an oocyte (egg) in the first half of the menstrual cycle leading up to ovulation. I have many symptoms /problems associated with menopause or thyroid these are bloods tests done, FSH 32.1, LH level 49.2, T4 15.1, TSH 1,56,?

See gynecologist: Thyroid levels are within normal ranges. At menopause, FSH levels tend to go up to ~70 or more, but they fluctuate and normal values at one point in time won't give you your answers. You need to see your gynecologist for an evaluation. Any treatment for you will depend on his/her overall assessment, rather than a test taken at one point in time ...Read more

Look fine: The doctor who ordered the tests should have informed you that they are normal and that your reproductive hormones seems to be healthy though there is no guarantee that there isn't some other problem which might make it hard to conceive. ...Read more

For adrenal renal or hepatic diseases to be at fault for low t, low LH and low fsh, what exactly to look for in a blood test? Want no doubt before TRT

Testosterone: Right? Adrenal insufficiency has you obviously sick and since you're interested, ask for an ACTH stimulation test. It won't make a man impotent -- look at Jack Kennedy. Hemochromatosis will ruin a man's libido even with perhaps a normal testosterone. The labs are simple. So is checking for a prolactinoma. Renal disease is ruled out with normal BUN, creatinine, urinalysis & concentrating power. ...Read more

My husband was diagnosed of azoospermia. His blood test result reveals thus: FSH 23.4 , LH 11.4 and prolactin 12.5 (all in miu/ml). Can he be treated?

Testes problem: Hi. Those data demonstrate primary hypogonadism, that is the defect lies in the testicles, not the pituitary. Is his testosterone low? That LH would predict so. That FSH should be driving spermatogenesis quite robustly, but it can't because of a testicular defect (a number are possible: genetic, toxic, traumatic, etc). He needs to see a fertility doc, and probably have a testicular biopsy. ...Read more

Rsults of my blood test indicate low LH and high TSH (3rd generation). What does this indicate?

Rsults of my blood test indicate low LH and high TSH (3rd generation). What does this indicate?

Hypothyroid: A high TSH is consistent with primary hypothyroidism. You should have a free T4 level done. Lh is unrelated to thyroid. A low level could be related to medications, such as an oral contraceptive or other estrogen usage (or testosterone in a male). If your periods are regular, it is likely a lab error. ...Read more
