Should get evaulated: Being a 26 y/o female, it is likely that you have irritable bowel syndrome and with the frequent loose stools can cause significant anal/perianal irritation, at times bleeding from it. Several things.: If the blood is bright red and just a bit on the toilet paper or in the bowl when having a bm, it is due to a hemorrhoid or anal fissure (small tear). These occur with chronic constipation, contributors to constipation are niot enough water or fiber in the diet, or prolonged sitting. If the blood is dark, or heavy, go see a doctor. I am not sure what physical exam means and it is very important HOW the stool blood test is done to be accurate. Start taking a daily fiber supplement and drink plenty of fluid.
