Be on the look out: Overall your husband blood pressure isn't particularly concerning but it does somewhat matter what his baseline is, as some people have baseline very high blood pressures and these numbers could cause some problems(FYI that's rare). Yes: Cardiac output is = HR X BP; and CO is fixed. So if HR low, BP can get pretty high in order for body to maintain C.O. Sometimes older patients with have heart block or low heart rate undiagnosed, and manifest with high BP. Not always bad: Blood pressure below 120/80 is not always a bad thing. As long as you are not having symptoms you should be fine. A heart rate below sixty , for example, is considered bradycardia (slower than normal) but can be completely ok if non-symptomatic (extremely fit people like runners etc).
