Blood pressure for black male age 55 height 5 10?

120/80: 120/80 is the average blood pressure. African americans tend to have higher blood pressure so the norm is to stay below 130. It also varies if a patient is on medication for hbp. Speak with your physician to measure and maintain your blood pressure.

Blood pressure: That blood pressure is within the normal range as generally defined. Some would define over 130 as elevated. The 67 diastolic is normal.

Is it okay to get a blood pressure rating of 140 - 70 at my age? (checking just after sitting around)

Is it okay to get a blood pressure rating of 140 - 70 at my age? (checking just after sitting around)

High blood pressure: Your blood pressure is lowest before you get out of be in the morning and generally highest before dinner in the evening. Consistent blood pressure of 140/70 is considered as high blood pressure and at least needs to be repeated and taken again in the manner described above. Once the diagnosis of high blood pressure is determined appropriate referral and treatment may be indicated

Dear dr my age is 29 and my blood pressure level always high upto 130/95, what is your kind advice for me?

Blood pressure: You should be on a salt controlled diet like the dash diet and on a regular exercise program. If the BP continues to rise, then pharmacologic treatment would be indicated addditionally.

I am 61 years of age took my blood pressure this morning and it was 98/75 then I took it the second time and it was 104 /78 is this too low?

Many factors of BP: There are countless factors, including emotional, environmental, dietary, and internal that effect blood pressure. These readings are considered in a normal range but may be abnormal compared with your personal normals. They can be heavily effected if you are taking medication to control blood pressure. If feeling weakness, dizziness, chest pain, shortness of breath seek medical attention.

Please describe the normal blood pressure for a person aged 56?

Please describe the normal blood pressure for a person aged 56?

Generally: An acceptablle blood pressure is less than 140/90. However depending on other factors such as diabetes or chronic kidney disease the targets might be lower. Still some controversy/confusion in this regard. Best advice is to see your doctor for a full evaluation.

Why I am having high blood pressure at the age of 27?

Hard to say?: Blood pressure elevations occur for many different reasons. Diet, habits, medications, drugs, tobacco, recreationals, weight gain, stress, alcohol, issues with your kidneys, vessels, hormones, tumors and the like. If you have elevations of blood pressure, don't be like 50 million americans and don't get treated! Get seen, get evaluated and get properly treated!

Normal blood pressure for male age 14?

140/85 or LESS: Your BP should be 140/85 or less at rest. It is normal for it to go up with activity and stress. You should check your BP after resting for 5 min. Females typically have low bp. I would not worry about low numbers unless you feel tired or dizzy. Young, skinny, healthy females typically have BP of 90/60 without problems.

Unstable blood pressure readings age 80+?

Unstable blood pressure readings age 80+?

Work with your doc.: Unsteady or what I would term labile hypertension can be tricky, and due to several factors. If already have hypertension (a disorder of persistent elevated BP that can predispose to heart disease and strokes--and not just occasional high blood pressure). A high salt meal, episodes of emotional stress, being at the doc's office can all elevate BP even if HTN controlled. Work w doc, avoid stroke.
