Doesn't sound like: a DVT. Hallmark of DVT is leg swelling and pain, occurring after leg injury or sitting stationary for a long time (like at a casino or on a plane). HR can vary a lot, with stress level, medication timing, & illness of any sort. BP also goes up and down a lot. For example it would be normal for BP to go from 100/70 to 160/90 with exercise. Yes but...: The diastolic or lower blood pressure number is a bit high. Normally like to see it under 90. However, its naive to focus too much on a single BP number. I liken BP measurements to a polaroid snapshot of life: it gives you a general idea of what's up but not a completely realistic view of what is best thought of as a video. My point? Start BP Journal: Factors play a roll in this. Your diet, your weight, your genetics. Yes that is high for a 19 year old and the sooner you take control of this the better. COntinue checking your blood pressure often. Eat healthy, exercise as much as you can. Lose weight if you need to. If your pressure continues to be high then see an MD.
