Check again: Often blood cell abnormalities come and go for a variety of reasons. I would recommend you see your pediatrician or family doctor and have your child thoroughly examined. I found out i was vitamin B12 defficiant, but my red blood cells, hemoglobin, and hemotocrit are always slightly elevated. So why would this be?

No: It probably means that B12 is accumulating and not being used. Folate may be high also.
