Follow it: Keep your blood pressure under control. With a stable course as you describe, I would doubt you will have serious kidney problems in the coming decades. A creatinine of 1.2 isn't uncommon in women your age and most do not have trouble ...Read more

My creatine is 70 and egfr is 79 is this low I am 46 female have trace of blood in urine but has come back normal should I be worried?

Inconsistent data: An egfr of 79 is lower than desirable but not too bad. You have not provided the units of cratinine as a value of 70 is not tenable. Blood in urine does need to be investigated, even if it happened only once as some lesions bleed erratically. It would be prudent to consult this site for info and discuss the matter with your doctor. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/blood-in-urine/ds01013. ...Read more

Micro blood in urine- 250+ result..Nurse said it was max. Dad had bladder cancer. Does this indicate cancer?32y/o woman who has never smoked.

Micro hematuria: Microhematuria in a 32-year-old female who has never smoked is not very likely to be due to bladder cancer. Bladder cancer is not really genetic in nature. Despite that, you should have a hematuria workup which would include imaging of your kidneys as well as a cystoscopy and a variety of possible urine studies. ...Read more

56 yr old female visible blood in urine. Avelox 14 days. Blood gone in 4 days. 2 weeks later visible blood. Avelox april 15 again + canesoral combi pack. Does antib stop blood if cancer? Scared.

No, it would not: Antibiotics are not likely to cause bleeding from a cancer in the bladder to stop. Be sure to have your urine tested and cultured(this is the test that specifies the exact bacteria causing infection, as well as which antibiotics will be effective against it) each time you have urinary symptoms. If blood continues to appear in spite of appropriate antibiotic treatment, see a urologist. ...Read more

Cystoscopy needed!: One cannot determine the recurrent cause of your symptoms without a look see! a bladder stone with attendant infection could explain them but, there are multiple other possibilities to be considered. Repeat urinalysis and culture are also required at least 7 days beyond the last antibiotic dose. If there is no visible bladder or upper tract gu process, then occult kidney disease must be excluded. ...Read more

Is blood in urine 7mm3 worrisome for a 65 years old woman? urine test, culture , CT scan of bladder, all came out negative.wha

Hematuria: The work up should inculde a Urinalysis with C&S, CT Urogram (to assess the whole collecting system including the kidneys and ureters and bladder and Urethra), and finally a Cystoscopy which will asses the superior aspect of the Bladder that may not be completely visualized on the CT Urogram. If all these tests come back normal, may be simple irritation of the urethra or somewhere else to monitor. ...Read more

Pelvic pain: Many different things can give you those symptoms. Diverticulitis, colitis, colon polyps, adhesions/obstruction, ovarian cysts, less likely cancers can all give you left pelvic pains. Hematuria: Your hematuria (h) does not seem to be due to a lesion in your kidneys. Do you have a urinary tract infection (uti)? Your statement, "meds for not not work work", implies that you may have one. If you have no uti, you may need a cystoscopy to see if your bladder is the source of your h. A urologist can do this test. If negative, you may have a glomerulonephritis causing your h, see a nephrologist. ...Read more
