GFR 43, Creatine 1.22,,2 +blood in urine but the blood is going on for years and years. is this okay for a 73 year old woman?
My creatine is 70 and egfr is 79 is this low I am 46 female have trace of blood in urine but has come back normal should I be worried?
Inconsistent data: An egfr of 79 is lower than desirable but not too bad. You have not provided the units of cratinine as a value of 70 is not tenable. Blood in urine does need to be investigated, even if it happened only once as some lesions bleed erratically. It would be prudent to consult this site for info and discuss the matter with your doctor. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/blood-in-urine/ds01013. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Micro hematuria: Microhematuria in a 32-year-old female who has never smoked is not very likely to be due to bladder cancer. Bladder cancer is not really genetic in nature. Despite that, you should have a hematuria workup which would include imaging of your kidneys as well as a cystoscopy and a variety of possible urine studies. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
56 yr old female visible blood in urine. Avelox 14 days. Blood gone in 4 days. 2 weeks later visible blood. Avelox april 15 again + canesoral combi pack. Does antib stop blood if cancer? Scared.
No, it would not: Antibiotics are not likely to cause bleeding from a cancer in the bladder to stop. Be sure to have your urine tested and cultured(this is the test that specifies the exact bacteria causing infection, as well as which antibiotics will be effective against it) each time you have urinary symptoms. If blood continues to appear in spite of appropriate antibiotic treatment, see a urologist. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
55 yr old female. Visible blood in urine. Avelox for uti. Blood gone. 5 days later blood back. Avelox again. Blood gone. Ultra sound clear. Clots now? Cystis diagnosis 17 yrs ago.
Cystoscopy needed!: One cannot determine the recurrent cause of your symptoms without a look see! a bladder stone with attendant infection could explain them but, there are multiple other possibilities to be considered. Repeat urinalysis and culture are also required at least 7 days beyond the last antibiotic dose. If there is no visible bladder or upper tract gu process, then occult kidney disease must be excluded. ...Read more

If all these tests come back normal, may be simple irritation of the urethra or somewhere else to monitor. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
