Could be hemorrhoids: Pain, blood, and itching during a BM COULD be hemorrhoids (varicose veins @ anus), but could be more serious. Itching can be a sign of a pinworm infection. Other possibilities could be inflammatory bowel disease such as Crohn's or ulcerative colitis; or anal/rectal cancer. Hello. : Hello. Hemmorrhoids are like sacs and can feel squishy (or even hard if there is a clot inside). They can become quite painful and they can also cause anal itching. It isn't the best idea to squeeze hemmorrhoids as you are injuring the skin. Hemmorrhoids contain blood. They can swell up (like if you have lots of constipation) or they can shrink down over time. I recommend that you see your family doctor who can properly diagnose your conditions and provide you a number of options for handling this.
