Old blood and clots: could mean either pregnancy or infection. I would make sure to check a pregnancy test, then if negative check it again 1 week later. You do not want to have a miscarriage and not know it. No : Pain in the calf is not a good indicator . If the set up us right for a clot , like recent surgery or prolonged inactivity and you have calf pain a SOB , the you need to consult a physician .
