What is a left fascicular block in your heart?

What is a left fascicular block in your heart?

Left fascicular bloc: The hearts conduction system has a right bundle and a left bundle. The left 'bundle' has both anterior and posterior fascicles. When one or the other fascicles has conduction block, we call this fascicular block. The left anterior is the most common. This explanation is a bit of an oversimplification to fascilitate understanding. ...Read more

I have block in heart at multiple place. My Dr suggested the blocks can't be removed under surgery. What are other possible ways. I have done angiogra?

Blockages: That is true, surgery does not remove the blockages that are there, it provides a bypass route around the blockages, but if there are too many, or the artery is too small it can't be bypassed. ...Read more

Can a healthy 18 year old have heart block? My heart beat is 52 at rest, is this due to the beta blocker I take of could it be heart block? Dangerous?

Unlikely : to have a heart block if you are a healthy young man, however, if you have symptoms you need to be evaluated, also before indulging in any spots on regular basis, better be checked by your doctor first. Beta blockers can slow your heart rate, but why why are you on them? Don't stop on your own, keep the follow up with your doctor, wish you wellness ...Read more

I have bradachardia, 1st degree av block & congenital heart disease papvr. Is clarithromycin safe to take? It causes heart problems? No?

I have bradachardia, 1st degree av block & congenital heart disease papvr. Is clarithromycin safe to take? It causes heart problems? No?

Very specific proble: Clarithromycin can cause prolongation of the corrected QT interval (measurement on EKG). If overly prolonged, dangerous rhythm disturbances can result (torsades de pointe ventricular tachycardia). It will not affect or be affected by sinus bradycardia, first degree AV block, or partial anomalous pulmonary venous return. If your QTc is normal, then it's safe for you to use it. ...Read more

What is an incomplete right bundle branch block in the heart?

What is an incomplete right bundle branch block in the heart?

Electrical slowing: The conduction of electricity in the lower chambers of the heart occurs through the left and right bundles. An incomplete right bundle branch block is an insignificant finding, representing a slight slowing in the electrical conduction as it passes through the right side of the heart. Please be aware that this has nothing to do with blockages in the arteries or heart attacks. ...Read more

I have been diagnosed with a right bundle branch block of the heart. Can I reverse this?

I have been diagnosed with a right bundle branch block of the heart. Can I reverse this?

Probably not: A right bundle branch block is either slowed or blocked conduction in one of the three fascicles ("wires") that connect the top chambers to the bottom chambers of the heart. Generally speaking, if the right bundle block has been there a while, it'll stay. Sometimes they come and go, but that's like an extension cord on the fritz and sparking. Good news: you'll be fine with just the left bundle. ...Read more

I'm 32, female, good health. I've just been told I have RBBB and LAV blocks in the heart. No symptoms. How life-threatening is this?

I'm 32, female, good health. I've just been told I have RBBB and LAV blocks in the heart. No symptoms. How life-threatening is this?

RBBB, LAD: If you mean RBBB and left anterior hemiblock or left axis deviation, I would have some concern about structural heart disease and, accordingly, I feel a cardiologist should evaluate and follow you. I assume you had an echocardiogram already. If the EKG pattern hasn't changed over several years, it may have less significance and may be simply a conduction abnormality only that may not worsen. ...Read more

I feel a mild pain in my chest and it grows in the evenings, often a twitch or a dull throb. Could I have some block in my heart?

I feel a mild pain in my chest and it grows in the evenings, often a twitch or a dull throb. Could I have some block in my heart?

Not typical, but ?: While the most classic symptom of coronary artery disease/obstruction (CAD) is chest pain which comes on with exertion, one can not be certain that a more gradual onset is NOT CAD. Worrisome chest pain would be sustained, at least more than 5 minutes, and likely wouldn't throb. BUT, this definitely needs checking: it may be vascular/related to aorta. See your doctor right away! Good wishes:) ...Read more

The kern country veterans service department gave it to me that letter says we r trying a claim of fermin Rodriguez for dependent indemnity compensation. In order to win this claim the death certificate must be amended to show in block 112 ischemic heart

Inappropriate: It sounds as if you are asking someone on healthtap to amend a death certificate for you. That won't happen. The patient's own physician or the one filling out the death certificate in the first place would be the appropriate places to seek this. ...Read more

What is the connection between right bundle branch block with slow heart beat?

What is the connection between right bundle branch block with slow heart beat?

It depends: Right bundle branch block(rbbb) in itself is usually a benign disturbance of conduction system of the heart. It usually does associated with adverse effects. However, it may be a part of other serious conduction disorders of heart (like high degree av block). Therefore, it may not be the cause of but a part of findings in a slow heart rate. Also remember, slow heart rate is not always bad. ...Read more

Would it be possible that a rbbb (right bundle branch block) cause a heart murmur?

Would it be possible that a rbbb (right bundle branch block) cause a heart murmur?

No: A rbbb is a pattern seen in the ECG where the electrical impulse is delay or interrupted as it spread along the heart. Prevalence increase with age. At 80 y/o close to 10% people can have it. Somewhat benign but an evaluation need to be done to r/o heart and lung conditions. Conditions like copd, cad, myocarditis, valvular heart disease, and other structural heart conditions. ...Read more
