Hi I have the startings of an underactive thyroid plus I've been peeing more and I am bloated alot. Had medicine for bloat but no help for peeing why? Ta

This is a complex issue without an easy answer as flaxseed does contain goitrogens (chemicals that can inhibit thyroid function), though most of are inactivated by heating them. Taking dulse and a mineral supplement at a different time helps.

Kelp doesn't help: Hi. Kelp doesn't help any form of hypothyroidism except iodine deficiency; iodine deficiency is non-existent in the modern world. So you're doing nothing to help your hypothyroidism by taking kelp.
