Many options: Could have irritable bowel syndrome marked by alternating constipation and diarrhea. Mood and stress problems often present as pain. Do you sleep well, what about stress, worry, daytime energy levels. It is not uncomommon to see pain out of proportion to tissue damage. If its cyclic there could be endometriosis, consider the pill.
