Blisters On Palms Of Hands And Soles Of Feet
I'm having blisters on the palms of my hands, soles of my feet, on my tongue, on my head and my genitals, accompanied with sore throat.
Blisters: Hand foot & mouth disease is a viral illness that can have blisters in the mouth, on palms, soles and other areas of the body. There are a number of conditions that can cause similar symptoms, including reactions to medications, erythema multiforme (which may occur after other infections such as herpes or pneumonia) & others. Please see your dermatologist as soon as possible for proper diagnosis.

May not be bites: It is possible that you have something called hand/foot ezcema or dermatitis, since it has been going on for a long time. I have white blisters on my palms and soles, sores inside my mouth -lips and back of throat, can it be foot hand mouth disease? How do I treat it?
No need: The blisters from hfm disease do not need to be treated. As the infection resolves over several days, the blisters will resolve on their own. I know of no specific treatment that will hasten their resolution. If there id pain or itching, these symptoms can be addressed using acetaminophen (tylenol)/ibuprofen (motrin/advil) or diphenhydramine (benadryl).See 1 more doctor answer

My 18 month old child has hand foot and mouth. The blisters on her feet are really bothering her. Is there anything I can use to sooth the pain?
Oral pain meds such: As acetaminophen or ibuprofen will be most effective for pain control, but some children complain more of an itchy sensation, and cold compresses, topical lotions used for poison ivy such as Ivy Dry or Caladryl may help. If itch is a problem, then oral antihistamines such as Benadryl or Zyrtec can be helpful.
Nothing to do: Blistery rash from hand, foot, mouth disease heals by itself.
How contagious is hand foot and mouth as he has started to blister and I have an 8 month old as well?
Contagious: For some reason there is a particularly contagious and maybe a new strain of hand, foot and mouth disease. The usually measures of separation and careful hygiene are good. Lots of Clorox on surfaces. All the best. It is a virus and needs to be treated symptomatically.See 1 more doctor answer

Your hand: Foot or mouth.....Caused by a virus and this is the response of the interaction.....Between virus and host...
See Below: They only go away naturally. You can not "get rid of them" antibiotics do not help. Up to 7-10 days before resolution.
Probably not: A number of things can cause blisters all over the mouth including a number of viruses (including herpes but also many others) and also stress (causing aphthous ulcers). Hand/foot/mouth disease is much more common in infants and in all people generally resolves on it's own after a few days.
How are blisters from hand foot mouth treated? how will the ones on hands bother them/feel for them?
Comfort care: The blisters in coxsackie virus, or hand, foot and mouth disease are usually painless on the hands and feet unless they develop a bacterial infection. They can be covered with a bandage if needed to protect the underlying skin. The mouth blisters are painful enough to prevent eating and your doctor can provide medication to help with the symptoms.See 1 more doctor answer
