Dr. Nancy S. Baxi answered:

I have developed a rash/blisters on my chest. Anything i could put on it?

Depends

Rash
On what it iis. Poison ivy rash-calamine. If shingles, then nothing and see your Doctor. If reaction to something topical or systemic, steroid cream or oral steroids. Point is, it could be many different things and it needs to be looked at to decide the best treatment.

I'm 42 had a chicken pox vaccine last week. Injection site was red and swollen now have like a blister on my chest. Is that normal?

Chickenpox

Chickenpox
vaccine as with any other vaccines can cause redness and slight swelling at the site of shot. The first vaccine will give you 95% protection and close to 100% the second time around. Some people will come down with mild chickenpox after the shot. If not sure, please consult with your physician.

Dr. William Newton answered:

I have tiny itchy blisters that are spreading on my chest, back, legs and arms. Very small clear liquid filled. What could it be, no food allergens?

Shingles

Blistering
Sounds like the rash that goes along with Shingles. The rash is usually more isolated and in a pattern. I would seek care and evaluation ASAP as this can benefit from early intervention with medications.

Blisters on skin

Blistering
Please see your dermatologist right away. All blistering rashes need to be evaluated as soon as possible. There are many things this could be, from viral infections like chickenpox to medication reactions to bug bites. All need evaluation and treatment.

Blisters in one spot on chest non itchy?

A few options

Itching
Might be a local allergic reaction--jewelry, something in pocket of shirt, etc.--or from an insect bite(-s)--or early shingles / zoster. Should see your Dr or Urgent Care Dr to have it checked.

Head-face
Unfortunately, skin lesions, rashes etc, are really tough to diagnose effectively over the computer and you need to see a Dr or health care provider in person to get properly evaluated and treated to assure the right diagnosis and treatment. best wishes.

What can I do if my baby has 3 blisters on her chest could it be chicken pox?

Maybe,maybe not

Chickenpox
Chickenpox tends to come out in crops of new blisters every few hours for 4-6 days. They change through stages from the initial bump, to blister, to open & drain, all within 24hrs. The average kid gets about 200 spots. There are many blistering processes & an office visit can decide what your baby has for sure.

Dr. David B. Fink answered:

Have a Rash on my chest small patch three patches on back.Slightly itchy and sore. Red very small blisters. Also suspect I have a yeast infection.

Possibly shingles

Rash
If the patches are in a line-like pattern (as opposed to a random pattern), it is likely you have shingles (reactivation of chicken pox virus), and you need a prescription for an antiviral medication if the rash began within the past 3 days. Sometimes a steroid such as hydrocortisone or prednisone is also prescribed. The yeast infection can be treated with an antifungal medication. See your PCP
