Blister On My Gum
Canker sores: I've tried many things but this is what I've found most helpful: use natural toothpaste without sodium lauralates, take probiotics or yogurt, apply liquid seal like zilactin to protect from biting/irritating, avoid ones with pain killers like Benzocaine as it irritates more than any pain relief.See 1 more doctor answer
Ask your ortho: Determining the cause of "blisters" on your gums requires personal examination of them by your orthodontic specialist. Orthodontics is not typically a cause of blisters. There is the probability you are describing either oral herpes (cold sores) or canker sore (aphthous ulcers). Warm salt water rinses can provide some relief until you see your orthodontist.See 7 more doctor answers
I have a water like blister on my gums on the top rght side on left side another blister came up it doesn't feel the same as the other & is sore?
For the past month I have been having outbreaks in my mouth around once a week with a little blister on my gum or sometimes tongue. Is this herpes?
Aphthous ulcers: These are likely aphthous ulcers. Vitamin B12 and folate (folic acid) deficiency, stress, menstrual period, NSAIDS, other drugs have been known to be associated with these little recurring ulcers. If one ulcer lasts longer than a week or so something else is going on. We sometimes prescribe a steroid paste to help the pain.
The roof of my mouth and my throat are sore and I have a blister on my gums towards the back. What could it be? I'm not sexually active. Worried.
Likely viral: Many viral infections may do this including hsv, which is common. These are usually self-limiting. Some times we find no cause and they still go away on their own. Reaction to certain medications or new foods should be considered. Rarely can this be a herald sign for a more serious underlying or for a systemic infection. See your doctor for a close up exam.See 1 more doctor answer
Canker sore on my upper gum line, now there is a yellow blister on my lower gum line. What is it.?
Herpes virus: Canker sores and cold sores are often caused by a herpes simplex 1 virus, HSV1. This is a very common virus causing sores around the mouth. If the sores are very frequent talk to your doctor about testing and possible medications to avoid frequent breakouts. This is a similar but different virus from HSV 2 which is genital herpes.See 3 more doctor answers
I have a white blister that forms on my gum periodically. It is painless and always is in the same place. It occasionally ruptures and goes away for a while. What should I do?
Chronic infection: You apparently have a chronic infection that is festering from either an infected tooth or an infection in your gums. These types of infections may fluctuate and periodically open and close at the surface as the body tries to heal and cope with the infection. Unfortunately, it is similar to an iceberg where the major infection is larger than what appears at the surface. It needs immediate care!See 3 more doctor answers

Hello first of all I wear dentures and here recently started getting these white blisters along my top and bottom gum line this is painful what do I d?
Get exam&adjustment: You need to see your dentist to determine if these white blisters are related to your dentures or not! You may only need an adjustment as your dentures are rubbing your gums, especially along the border. There is always the possibility that these blisters are not dental related. Find out and treat appropriately!See 6 more doctor answers
