Blister On Gum Where Tooth Was Extrfacted
I have a small bump on my gum underneath my tooth. It looks like a blister but has been there for over a month now. It does not hurt or changed size.
Fistula?: What you are describing sounds like a fistula or drainage track from an infected tooth. Your dentist can confirm this with an X-ray and a Gutta percha placed in the "gum pimple". It wouldn't hurt because the pressure is vented thru the pimple, but if an infection it is dangerous to your overall health. Have your dentist help you treat your problem. Lump on the inside of my gum next to a wizdom tooth. Its not painful, just feels like a blister full of water. Acured a day ago. Any thoughts?
Two thoughts: Either an infection or a mucocele. It doesn't make sense to take any chances. See a dentist to know for sure. If it is an infection, even though it doesn't hurt now, it will soon enough and usually at the most inopportune time. If it's a mucocele, all the better. I got 4 teeth surgically removed 4 days ago I have blisters in my mouth and what seems to be white plaque on my gums is this normal?
Yes and no: The white plaque may simply be healing tissue or dead tissue sloughing off. The blisters are another matter. Without examination, it is hard to say. You might have placed gauze in and out too many times and pulled away the top layer of healthy tissue. Best to see the Oral Surgeon who treated you for a follow-up visit to diagnose and treat these concerns. Easy warm salt water rinses. Good Luck. ...Read moreSee 4 more doctor answers
