Possible infection: If you are sexually active, this could be a sexually transmitted disease, such as herpes simplex, or other infection. If you have never been sexually active, the most common sore of this type is an abrasion caused by masturbation, but there are other possibilities. Please get this looked at by your doctor and get treatment for it. Avoid having sex until you discuss this with your doctor. ...Read more
After masturbation, I noticed a blister on my foreskin. I believe it is due to friction. Also, what should I do with the blister?
Nothing: Not much to do with blister but keep it clean and let it resolve on its own. If it does not, this might be sign of infection and you should have it looked at. ...Read more

Hello, Doc I just wanna ask, I have white blisters on my foreskin its been there for years (itchy sometimez), I have similar on my lips, what is it?
Fordyce's spots?: These described lesions are most likely not blisters but small spots of variable size of 1-3 mm. If so, they may represent the occurrence of Fordyce's spot, which are the ectopic sebaceous glands and not related with hair follicles. Of course, it is hard to tell with 100% accuracy without a direct look at. If still in doubt, see urologist or dermatologists. But still ask if you have long foreskin. ...Read more

Chances of one having herpes without any blisters or sores but balanitis on foreskin and penis head?
I wouldn't think: The chances are high...those ulcerated lesions are very commonly present in herpes. Balanitis is swelling and inflammation of the foreskin. It's main cause is suboptimal hygiene in the uncircumcised. Symptoms will usually resolve when you rinse (unscented) soap completely off the penis. Low dose OTC topical steroid or anti fungal cream may help. Rarely are other antibiotics needed. USE CONDOMS! ...Read more

Yes: This virus can cause blisters to appear on your genitals, around the anus & occasionally in the mouth. The average patient will eventually go through 250-300 although some have more or less. Had protected sex & have balanitus after putting hand sanitizer on my penis in sept. No blisters. Red spots on head, red Corona/foreskin. Risk of hsv?
Probably not herpes: Herpes doesn't cause this sort of problem, especially when it lasts several months. This sounds like garden variety fungal (yeast) or nonspecific balanitis, very common in uncircumcised men. Probably not caused by hand sanitizer, even if that was just before the problem started. Retract foreskin and wash 2x daily w/ soap & water. See a dermatologist if it continues after that. ...Read more
I had sex with my wife, oral too, after I had a red blister on my fore skin, its painless, its been two days, friction blister? Help please
Yes: Most likely this is from vigorous sex with friction. Keep it clean with soap and water, apply a little Neosporin or bacitracin until healed. If it doesn't heal in 5-7 days, or you get more of them, see your doctor. Use of a lubricant such as KY jelly can help prevent this. Good luck! ...Read more

Yeast infection?: You may have balanitis (inflammation of penis head and foreskin), such as a yeast infection your partner also has. Possibly herpes, but not likely based on your description. Many other possibilities as well, such as chemical irritation or allergy, e.g. from a spermicide, latex if you use condoms, etc. You should both be professionally examined, ideally by the same doctor or clinic. ...Read more
