Blister On Buttock
What could it be when you get blister spots on buttock and leg they have been coming out over the last 3 weeks?
Blisters on the butt: Blisters in the buttock and leg area could indicate shingles- especially if they fit in a certain pattern called a dermatome. Big difference: Pilonidal cysts which occur where the two buttocks join at the end of the tailbone (coccyx), a common problem. These involve only skin & subcutaneous tissue; frequently recur after surgery. Cysts can also occur at the lower end of spinal canal, called meningoceles. These are deep structures & potentially quite serious. But the 2 conditions are quite different. Ask your doctor which you have. ...Read more

Probably not herpes: Herpes simplex (HSV) outbreaks typically are a cluster of blisters or sores (which can start as red bumps) very close to one another. Usually the whole involved area is no more than an inch in diameter. For herpes, BHT (available on line or health food store) 2,000 mg per day (taken in divided doses). Lesions should clear up in a day or two. Another "home remedy" is to apply DMSO ("horse liniment") from a veterinary supply. ...Read more

Unclear: This may well be an infection that is spread by scratching. This could be made worse as you scratch you can abrade the skin and then these are getting infected.
