Blighted Ovum 12 Weeks
I had a d&c for a blighted ovum 2 .5 weeks ago. Negative pregnancy test yesterday so hCG is gone. Now ovulation symp, can I conceive so soon after?
D&c 10 weeks ago for blighted ovum at 12 weeks pg, bled for 4 days after then stopped but bleeding every time after orgasm now, why is this happening?
Still healing?: Orgasm induces vigorous contraction of Fallopian tubes, uterus, cervix, and vagina, which may lead to spotting blood from incompletely healing of mucosa from D&C. So, it's still logical to be patient and see as long as the spotting is slowly but surely becoming lighter and lighter. Blighted ovum at 12 wk scan.i knew from 6 wks.would not be scanned as not bleeding. Why would no one listen to me? Devastated.
Sorry : First, sorry for your loss. An ultrasound at 6 weeks may not have been much help. Next time, you will want to get HCG and progesterone levels early to get an indication if everything is OK. It is important for you to understand that you did not do anything to cause this loss. Also, most women who experience a loss will be successful the next time. Doubt it: Blighted ovum (or anembryonic pregnancy) is more related to a chromosomal or post-conception error. Nothing you can do to prevent or cause these. Smoking however, can increase infertility, miscarriage, growth restriction, and preterm delivery. Nothing: A "blighted ovum" is a pregnancy that simply didn't develop. These are usually genetically abnormal pregnancies that just stop growing, and can happen on occasion in normal situations. However, if you and your wife have this happen twice in a row, then that's considered abnormal and you should consider seeing a board certified re for testing.
