The opposite: Reticulocytosis by definition means increase number of red cells, most of the time because of anemia. Bleeding ulcer can cause anemia, then your retic count will be higher than normal. No actual diet: I recommend my patients, who are dealing with ulcers, try to keep some food in their stomach, even a snack before going to bed.
