Get help: There are several ways you can fix this, but the one thing not to do is to just wait and hope it will get better. A lactation consultant or nurse or doctor can help. If you are sore and cracked, it will cause you pain and put you are risk for infection! try allowing the nipple to air dry with some breast milk on them after feeds and review the baby's latch on position carefully.
