What causes bleeding from the cervix after menopause? US shows endometrial thickening of 8mm and no change in fibroids. Bleeding is from cervix.
Bleeding: Polyps both endocervical and prolapsed endometrial polyps, cervicitis (inflammation from infection), cervical cancer are some of the causes. In your case I wouldn't expect to see an 8mm endometrium at age 60, so I'm concerned about possible hyperplasia.
