I am 5 weeks pregnant but this morning i started bleeding a bit. Is this normal in early pregnancy or am i miscarrying? I have taken 4 hpt and all are positive but i started bleeding this morning. It isnt a lot, but its enough to scare me. My doctor said
I : I am afraid that you obstetrician is correct. If you are miscarrying at 5 weeks, there is nothing that will prevent it. A miscarriage this early on could potentially present with few cramps. The viability of the pregnancy can be checked via ultrasound or by checking to see if HCG levels are declining or increasing. On the other hand, your spotting was described as minimal. I am sorry you are going through, but time will tell. Take care. ...Read more
Had very early pregnancy that ended at 4w5d,all symptoms stopped, still haven't bled. How long without bleeding until I should worry. 2 weeks late now
Uncertain: If your pregnancy ended at 4 weeks 5 days from last period, that means the embryo was only 2 weeks along in its development. It might have been resorbed without any bleeding. I have two questions. 1: how did you know you miscarried? 2. Is it possible you are still pregnant? I would recommend another pregnancy test. If it's negative you should have another period in about two weeks. ...Read more
My baby is 7 weeks old, and im experiencing light bleeding, could that be a sign of early pregnancy?
Yes: While bleeding is somewhat common in early pregnancy, it is not necessarily normal. While it can be seen in normal healthy pregnancies, it could also be a sign of infection, miscarriage, or even an abnormal location of the pregnancy (an ectopic pregnancy). It is important to see you doctor ASAP for evaluation. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
My pregnancy result is positive 114 but i why i got early misscarriage after 5 week pregnancy bleeding start?
I took the pill three weeks ago and i started bleeding ten minutes later, bleed for 6 days. Now three weeks later having early pregnancy symptoms.
I have all the classic pregnancy symptoms including my linea nigra came back. I was a week early with 2 days of bleeding and 3 of light brown spotting?
Do a pregnancy test: If you think you might be pregnant you should do a pregnancy test. Home pregnancy tests are readily available, inexpensive, easy to use, and very reliable. Although bleeding you experienced may not have been like your usual periods, it was most likely menses, and it is unlikely that you are pregnant. If you remain unsure after doing the pregnancy test, you can repeat the test after 7-10 days. ...Read more
Had a c section four months ago and am pregnant 7 weeks. Had bleeding a month into the pregnancy but didn't realise I was pregnant as nursing. Risks?
Ob ultrasound: any pregnancy that is within 6 months of a cesarean section has me a little worried about whether or not your scar has healed and whether or not the pregnancy is growing in the scar itself. You should establish prenatal care withan OB doctor early and get an ultrasound to make sure that this pregnancy is healthy. Take prenatal vitamins. ...Read more
Can ligament pain in early pregnancy be one sided (low abdo) and fairly continuous? No bleeding just uncomfortable on the right for a week.
It can: One should not assume that pregnancy pain is from round ligament pain until the doctor has ruled out other causes. In early pregnancy the ligament is not really being stretched making this a less likely causes. You should be seen and evaluated by your Obgyn first to make sure there is a live baby located inside the uterus with an ultrasound. A sonogram can look for ovarian cysts as well. ...Read more
Yes: "decidual bleeding" can be lumped together with "implantation bleeding" and we can call them both "first trimester bleeding". I'd estimate 20-30% of pregnant women have some type of first trimester bleeding, and many go on to have normal pregnancies. An ultrasound is the only way to know that things are ok in there and to rule out an ectopic. An hpt will still be positive if you are miscarrying. ...Read more
