Pap smear: Cervical position and consistency rarely matters except when you are in labor. There is no need to check it otherwise as it will not reliably indicate much of anything useful. Make sure you Pap smear is up to date. If still concerned have an obgyn take a look. ...Read more

Serial HCG levels: The best follow-up for your symptoms is serial blood HCG levels and ultrasound. Its possible you had a miscarriage and several blood HCG levels will clarify this. If the HCG level continues to rise normally, you are still pregnant. If it is dropping fast, you probably had a miscarriage. There are some grey areas, so its best to have an Ob/Gyn follow you.
