Bleeding After Ovulation Induction And Iui
I have had IUI three times already and every 8th day after ovulation and IUI I get bleeding which eventually becomes a period, a week before period?
Bad Prognosis: That means your body is not supporting the pregnancy. Usually, even if you are not pregnant, you will not bleed for about 2 weeks. So that means your hormones after ovulation are very low. It indicates a "poor quality" ovulation. Unfortunately, that can mean that there is a problem with the egg quality or the genetics of the eggs. There is a good chance you will need ivf.
Intrauterine insemination (iui) is where fresh or frozen partner or donor sperm is prepared or 'washed' to increase the sperm quality then gently injected through your cervix after a speculum exam, like a pap smear exam. It should be painless or cause mild cramping only. Iui helps with mild to moderate sperm problems. Iui preparations should have at least 2 million moving ...Read more
Had an IUI on monday started spotting friday 4-5 days past ovulations/ IUI today have heavier bleeding 7 days past ovulation. Is this my period?
I'd ignore it: Implantation bleeding is subtle and unpredictable, if it can reliably be interpreted at all. Internet vastly over-emphasizes the idea of "implantation bleeding" and how useful a predictor it is. If it happens at all it would be very light and likely around 6 days-1 week after ovulation.
Its the second day after ovulation and I have serious cramps and bleeding a little. What could this mean?
The past 2months I've been bleeding 7days after ovulation (trying4baby #2) then period has coming about a week late (v odd).Y could this be happening?
Delayed ovulation: It is not uncommon for women to have a small amount of bleeding around the time of ovulation related to a brief, abrupt drop in estrogen levels mid-cycle. Given the bleeding, followed by your cycle 14 days later, I am going to suggest that you are ovulating later than you think. This could be confirmed with an over the counter ovulation predictor kit!
Many causes: See the site below for information on this topic. It is not likely to implantation bleeding as that would take about 7-10 days. If you miss your period by 4-5 days, it would be time to do a pregnancy test. http://www. Webmd. Com/women/tc/abnormal-vaginal-bleeding-topic-overview
Not possible.: Ovulation is the release of a matured egg from the ovarian follicle into the oviduct. It usually happens on the 14th day of a regular menstrual cycle of 28 days. Ovulation may vary from 8.2 to 20.5 days, depending on the length of cycle. The ovulation date can be calculated by subtracting the total duration of cycle from 14. So, bleeding should occur 14 days & not 5 days after ovulation. Thanks.See 1 more doctor answer
Too soon to tell: Conception, as defined by the generation of a fertilized ovum, occurs within day or so of the sex. However, it takes about two weeks for the embryo to make enough HCG to produce a positive pregnancy test. Blood test may be done a day after a missed period. Home pregnancy tests should be done 4-5 days after the missed period. Use first morning urine and follow instructions for the test carefully. Please seek care from a doctor to protect your and your baby's health.
Hard to guess...: Many women have occasional variation of their mucus discharge, some spotting between periods, a heavier or a lighter period, a longer or shorter period, or even a missed period. Having 1 or 2 of these symptoms doesn’t necessarily mean there is a medical problem, but a visit to one’s doctor is a good idea if symptoms are recurring. If a regular period is missed by a week, do a home pregnancy test.
What would be the cause of post-coidal bleeding (4-5 drops of fresh blood) in 8th and 11th day after ovulation?
No: Because implantation does not happen until 6-7 days after ovulation.
Implantation Bleed: Implantation can happen any time between 6-12 days after ovulation. Certainly possible. No worries here. If bleeding continues after these 12 days though then I would be assessed by an md as this can be associated with risk of pregnancy loss, which in all honesty, is a normal thing as well.
Probably a period: Many things are possible in life, but 2 weeks after ovulation sounds like it's bleeding from a period. If worried about pregnancy, just do a urine pregnancy test. If pregnant, the test should be positive by 3 weeks after ovulation. Also, one can just wait for the next normal regular period in a month. If that next period seems normal, then one is not pregnant.
