I had a LEEP procedure a week ago and just started bleeding. Is this normal and how long will it possibly last?
A "LEEP" of faith..: .. says the bleeding is probably related to the procedure. After all, it is designed to remove tissue from the cervix - sometimes the lacerated part will scab over and then break loose after a time - could be a week - especially if progesterone is enhancing the cervical bogginess/ thickness. ...Read more
Maybe: First of all I always told my females after leep or conization not to have intercourse for 6 weeks. Post-operatively that area of your cervix needs to heal. Sort of like having a scab on your knee from falling. As it is healing you hit it again and it bleeds easier than normal skin would. Same thing with your cervix. Also could this be your period? ...Read more

I know that I can't have penetrative sex for 4-6 weeks after lletz/leep procedure, but what about clitoral orgasm? Have had no bleeding or pain
I'd abstain: The reason I wouldn't attempt a clitoral orgasm is that is can cause contractions of your uterus and vagina which is close to where they performed the surgery. This could cause bleeding and disruption of any sutures, or scar tissue that could be present. I would also ask your Gynecologist who performed this surgery. Good luck ...Read more
