Sex after colpo: First off. After colpo with bio nothing should go into your vagina for at least 7 days. Given that you were not told what you likely experienced was old blood from the biopsies and possibly minor bleeding as a result of penile penetration. Did you use a condom? Bleeding: Yes you will be okay. Its very unusual to have this complication. Do you have any history of a bleeding disorder? Also, its unusual to have a colonoscopy at such a young age, I imagine you were have severe symptoms to warrant a colonoscopy. Your doctors will take good care of you and keep a close eye on you. No fun: The pain from a cervical biopsy can be fairly significant after the procedure. I would take tylenol (acetaminophen) if you have no allergy - try 500 mg every 4 hours tonight. If that has no effect on the pain then you need to go to the ER for pain management. I would recommend calling your GYN in the morning to see what his/her recommendations are. ...Read more
