Bleeding After Colonoscopy Biopsy
Biopsy is tissue removed by needle or cutting to remove part of a body part. It is usually a small amount of material that is processed by a pathologist. Most of the time it is stained and looked at through a microscope to arrive at a diagnosis. Special processes are done for some tissues or problems. The purpose is to tell what the problem is (diagnosis). ...Read more
Normal: It's VERY important to get a colposcopy if your pap is abnormal. A colposcopy is a speculum exam where special stains and magnifying lenses are used to look for pre-cancers on your cervix. If there are abnormalities, your GYN will take a biopsy, which is uncomfortable, but lasts ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Hard to tell: It's possible either way. It might be normal to have some bleeding/spotting after removal of polyp and biopsy of uterus. Likewise, it could be your period. If it's time for your period, then that's what it likely is. Wait another month and see if next month's cycle is normal. Hopefully doctor called you by now to tell you everything's normal! ...Read more

If you have a breast tumor a bloody discharge is a possible symptom, so to really answer your question i would need to know what kind of biopsy (fine needle, needle core, or open) and what was the diagnosis. Talk to your doctor about the possibilities. ...Read more
